RAMS Training

RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, MAINTAINABILITY AND SAFETY TRAINING (EN 50126 RAMS)

RAMS is short for Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety. RAMS has become an integral part of system development as systems are becoming complex, consisting of various subsystems and components provided by different vendors. There is an increased need to focus on RAMS elements in the railway and mass transit industry with the increase in business challenges, competition and the need for interoperability among multiple service providers. The challenge all across the industry is to improve reliability, maintain regularity and punctuality, and improve operational safety at reduced costs. This creates the need for an increased understanding of RAM and safety concepts among high level managers and at the same time creates a huge potential for RAMS engineers.

We at Intellex have dedicated trainers to cater to the training needs of individuals as well as organisations, customized for people at different levels of the organisation. CENELEC standard EN 50126 consists of the main items that should be part of the different processes of the full life-cycle of railway rolling stock, infrastructure and their interaction. This standard is emphasized in our RAMS courses. The course gives an idea of Common Safety Methods, CSM 352/2009. The course looks at how CSM affects the homologation process.

The course provides a detailed understanding of methods and analyses necessary for a business to manage and control their objectives. .
